What are the precautions while handling a Travellers Cheque ?
. Immediately sign your Travellers Cheque
in the upper left corner after purchase.
. Make sure that a cashier watches you countersign the
cheque in the lower left hand corner while encashing the cheque.
. Incase you loose your cheque immediately call the issuer
or the respective brand's service center giving all details like
serial numbers of cheques, place and date of purchase.
. Always store Purchase Agreement separate from the Travellers
Cheque.

What should be done with a deceased persons unused Travellers Cheque
?
. The estate beneficiary or executor should
take the Travellers Cheque, the death certificate, and any other
estate papers designating the beneficiary to their, or the estates,
bank, and instruct the bank to call the respective Brands Customer
Service Center for further instructions. |

Do I get the change back if I do not use the full face value of
a Cheque ?
. Yes,
you will get the change bank. |

What are the steps for a faster Refund ?
. Lodge
an FIR about the loss alongwith the Travellers Cheque numbers lost.
. Collect the reference number and
photocopy of the refund application form the issuer. |
