Yatra - a tribute to faith ! Shiva is the holy trinity god
and the amarnath cave is situated at 145km Srinagar' east. The size
ice shiv-ling at the amarnath changes with the momentum of seasons.
The maximum height of linga is approx 6 ft. The walk to Amarnath is
situated above the 14 thousand above the sea level and the amarnath
yatra is well structured by the J&K State Government during the month
of July and August to provide the convenience of millions of devotees.
In the cave of Amarnath, there are two more fascinating ice lingams
are present i.e., of Parvati and son Ganesha. |
