Day excursion to Gulmarg (the meadows of flowers) 2730 mts. Above sea level. Stay overnight in Srinagar.

Day 06 :Srinagar - Phalgam - Srinagar
Morning drive to Pahalgam (the valley of sheperds), en route, visiting safforn fields and Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple oflord Vishnu built by king Awantivarman, enjoy the beautiful countryside on the way. Drive through the pine forest, on arrival in Pahalgam walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of Monutains, evening drive to Srinagar. Stay overnight at Srinagar.

What to See

Gulmarg:-
Gulmarg boasts of the highest Golf Course in the world. If the weather is clear, one can have a spectacular view of the towering mountains including Nanga Parbat (26624 ft.) and other peaks. Also a panoramic view of the Kashmir Valley.

Sonamarg:-
Sonamarg is situated at a distance of 84kms from Srinagar, on the Srinagar-Ladakh Road. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg (‘The meadow of gold’) has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.

Sudh Mahadev Temple:-
Situated in the town of Chanhani in the western part of the Jammu, the Sacred Temple of Sudhmahadev was constructed by Chaudhari Ramdas of Chanhani and his son Chaudhari Parag Mahajan about 80 years ago.

Dachigam:-
Dachigam was at one time the exclusive hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Kashmir. It contains the last viable hangul population, related to the red deer of Europe, with a white rump patch and impressive spread of antlers.

Srinagar:-
(The capital of Kashmir) Visit Hari Parbat Fort, Jama Masjid, Walk in the old bazaar and over one of the seven old Bridges on river Jhelum, view from outside the shrine in honour of Shah Hamdan.
