It contains a built-in interpreter with the extensive tools for sensing the debugging code errors. It also contains a built in compiler that makes compiling both quick and easy. The most significant component of VB.net is the built in integrated development environment (IDE), with this we can design screen presentations and menus built in controls and tables, and the IDE actually writes the codes for carrying out the design constructions.
Using VB.net we can create powerful-featured application that exploits the key feature of MS-windows, including multiple document interface (MDI), object linking and embedding (OLE), dynamic data exchange (DDE), graphics and more, VB.net can be extended by adding custom controls and by calling procedures in dynamic link libraries (DLL). Our finished application is a true EXE file that uses a run time DLL, we can freely distribute.
SQL 2000 SERVER
Smart Deal is database centric software rather that the front end. This renders a pure RDBMS system with slightest change in the data would represent the absolute updation in entire system as the system provides centralized area repository to manage shared; concurrent access to that data’s server 2000.
Also supports the concept of standby server. In this scenario, two physical servers each have a duplicate copy of your database. The database must be sync via routing database transaction log backups. In the event of failure, the standby server will be brought online as the primary server. So the SQL 2000 is capable of providing both the availability and reliability that is required within the Enterprise.
Client-Server Architecture
Client-server architecture is based on a simple premise: differed computers perform different tasks and each computer can be optimized for a particular task. It makes sense therefore to separate the DBMS from the client application. In a network environment, the DBMS resides on a single machine. However, many applications access the databases, and all clients make requests from the same database.
Three Tier Architecture
The first tier of a client-server application is the client tier, or presentation Tier, which runs on the client. This tier contains code that presents data and interacts with the User, and it is usually a VB.Net application. In this type of architecture the client talk directly with the databases.
The second tier is the database server, or DBMS. This tier manipulates a very complex object, the database, and offers a simplified view of the database through OLE DB and ADO.
